Over time CERIB has developed a metrology offering that it has made available in metropolitan France and internationally. Having a team of specialist metrologists and transportable calibration equipment, we can provide customers with calibration services on their own sites. In recent years such assignments have been carried out in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, the French West Indies (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique), and Tahiti.
Complementing this offering, CERIB Océan Indien provides similar services performed by its team of metrologists based in Réunion Island. From Réunion Island to Madagascar and Mayotte, CERIB Océan Indien offers high-quality metrological services through its permanent presence close at hand in the Indian Ocean region.
With the metrology services provided, CERIB and its local branch CERIB Océan Indien meet the requirements of manufacturers in all sectors. They constitute a crucial link in their quality strategy by ensuring traceability from industrial equipment to national and international standards of measurement and thus establishing a level of confidence in the results obtained with the measuring and testing equipment used.
The services provided concern a range of types of measuring instruments such as:
- weighing instruments (characterization tests for product weights, densities, etc.);
- tensile and compressive testing machines (compressive strength, pullout strength);
- furnaces and environmental chambers (drying tests, desiccation, freeze/thaw cycles, etc.);
- dimensional measurement equipment;
- special testing equipment (in accordance with the materials concerned) such as cement setting-time testing machines, Blaine air permeability apparatus, aggregate fragmentation testing machines, sieves for grain-size analysis, and poker vibrators for producing concrete test specimens.
At the end of the services, our digital signature system means customers get their calibration certificates in PDF format promptly, directly from the MyCerib downloading platform.
