CERIB and its subsidiary CERIB Océan Indien (based in Réunion Island) pooled their resources and personnel to carry out several calibration campaigns in Tahiti and Madagascar in the course of the first quarter of 2026.

Carrying with them the portable measurement standards required for the work performed in situ, their metrologists spent several weeks on-site and issued close to 150 calibration certificates and verification reports for the following apparatus:

  • 63 items in the temperature/humidity field (ovens, environmental chambers, thermostatic baths, thermometers, furnaces, etc.);
  • 9 items for weighing;
  • 10 items for pressure;
  • 19 items in the field of forces and testing equipment;
  • 45 items in the field of dimensional measurement.

For some of these equipment items the services were carried out under CERIB’s Cofrac Testing or Calibration accreditation for on-site services (Cofrac Testing accreditation No. 1-0001 for testing machines and ovens; Cofrac Calibration accreditation No. 2-1161 (weighing) and No. 2-1132 (pressure): scopes available at www.cofrac.fr).

Our customers in a variety of industrial sectors (plastics and packaging, food industry, construction) who are committed to quality and/or certification procedures were thus able to obtain proof that their measuring equipment is calibrated against international measurement standards and to obtain characterization of its degree of accuracy in the dealings of their in-house laboratories.

Contacts made during these on-site services suggest that additional requests may be made for coming assignments. As a training centre qualified under France’s QUALIOPI benchmark, CERIB is licensed to dispense single-company training on a range of topics, including metrological follow-up of a pool of measuring instruments.
