CERIB’s Metrology laboratory has Cofrac calibration accreditation No. 2.1954 for verification of sieves in the laboratory, in accordance with relevant standards (ISO 3310‑ and ISO 3310‑2). This activity is of relevance to a range of sectors in which sieving is performed, such as the concrete and aggregate industries, the pharmaceutical industry and the food industry, especially in relation to the sieving of cereals.

We can also conduct verifications of sieves on-site for customers not wishing to be without their equipment while it is in the testing laboratory.

In addition, CERIB provides metrology services for variable measuring instruments (Vernier calliper, depth gauge, indicator (e.g. dial gauge), etc.) and verifies dimensional measurements associated with testing machines (extensometers, crossbeam displacement, etc.).

Types of apparatus calibrated:

– indicators (e.g. dial gauges)
– displacement sensors
– Vernier callipers
– depth gauges
– sieves
– wire sensors
– inclinometers
– length comparators, dilatometers
– extensometers
– crossbeam displacement for tensile testing machines.

Technical equipment used by our metrology teams:

– automatic 3D vision measuring machine
– height gauge
– gauge blocks
– squares / cylinder squares
– extensometer test bench
– reference standards for dimensional measurement.
