CERIB’s Forces/Torques laboratory has Cofrac calibration accreditation No. 2.1019 for calibration and verification of instruments for measuring forces and torques, in accordance with relevant standards and other authoritative documents (NF EN ISO 376, LAB GTA 03).

Our test benches are suitable for large items of equipment, given the work space available, and for high compressive loadings (up to 600 tons).
Ranges covered:
- tensile strength: up to 250 kN
- compressive strength: up to 5,000 kN
- torque meters: up to 500 Nm
- Torque tools: up to 300 Nm.

Technical equipment used by our metrology teams:
– force calibration benches: from 20 kN to 6,000 kN
– set of force measurement standards: from 1 N to 6,000 kN, standard weights
– torque calibration bench: from 5 to 100 Nm for calibrating torque meters (LH and RH)
– torque tool verification bench: from 10 to 1,000 Nm (RH tightening).
